Metras, Syaxel's most important city, is a powerful symbol of Technology and is the origin of all major decisions. All the Command Centers around the world are synchronized and guided by Metras. For all the military forces, Metras is a paradise. With her 40 storages underground military HQ and her four Second Line Bases guarding Metras's metropolitan area, army forces are surrounded by luxury, comfort and high technologic installations. Commercially, Metras's monopolistic power allows her to easily get problems fixed. Controlling the planet's financial source, a bad gestion would result in a financial crash for the whole planet.

The very key to this gestion concerns the VE - Virtual Entities. Metras is the home of the Metras#-line of VE which are the most powerful of them all.

Metras is also the biggest city, in size, on Syaxel. Its metropolitan area could easily hold 10 times a normal sized city, and that’s not counting Metras's urban areas. The best way to describe the city would easily be by the word "central". Metras holds the key center of nearly every activity on Syaxel: its competitive sports, science, architecture, technology, politic or military. Metras simply unites the top of any fields under the same name. The city's military HQ is considered as the most secure location on the planet, shared with Selter (a military city).
